Gentlemen (and women,)
It has been quite some time. I tell stories of the glory days of scam baiting often but have not checked in here for some time.
It was my understanding that baiting fell by the wayside during the covid years and that it has become mostly over the phone. Obviously some great YouTube channels are leaps and bounds above what I was ever able to pull off.
Is email still a reliable way to scam bait? Are most scammers trying to get you on the phone or video? I suppose my main question is, is it still like it was a decade ago or has it become more sophisticated?

Yes, we're still keeping active with email baiting. I think we see more of the youtube baiters because of the immediate entertainment aspect of those posts, but there's also the awful education of lads that can happen through that public media - not to mention the danger of a baiter potentially exposing their real ID. We carry on here and do the good stuff without the fanfare or expectation of views, likes or follows. Non-subscription baiting, if you will, but it still allows us to infiltrate and do damage to the fraudsters without being discovered.
I hope you'll check out Scamwarners, grab a lad or two, and bait with us again!
