Help me create a new character

I've been using my current character, an author by the name of Addie Smith, since i began scambaiting. But i want help to create and develop a new individual to join my growing team. Addie is either very short, sharp and rude or she is uninterested.

I'm thinking that this individual could be a sibling/in law/cousin/friend/acquaintance of Addie. She/He is to be nosy and wants to know as much detail about everything as possible. But that's as far as i have got, I'm trying to come up with a believable back story of how She/he is a successful "business owner", whose business is to turn the table on scammers, I mean deal with international trade.
