Hi!
Probably some people will remember me, especially those who were around from 2007 through to 2017.
I see that most old-timers who come back mention how baiting has changed compared to when they started, etc, etc, but I'm still doing the same straight-baiting using only email (despite lads insisting I get WhatsApp or whatever other phone apps they're using) and trying to keep them sniffing around my fake identities for as long as possible hoping for a payday (which never arrives, of course).
I did actually get scammed myself, back in October of 2023, and it took me a few days to realize that it was happening. Not through a typical lad sending me an opening format promising $millions of USD but rather something involving those pesky NFT things. I discovered there truly is a scam for everyone, something that will slip past our usual filters and protections. I only lost £2300 but that was enough to make me experience what it must feel like for what most victims go through. Very enlightening.
Anyway... lesson learned!

I'm really sorry to hear about the NFT thing. I think you're right, we humans are predictable in a lot of ways and there are lots of entry points into our susceptibility. For me, it was questionable supplements at a time in my life when I had some health issues about 20 years ago. Thankfully I didn't ignore my doctor's orders, but I did pay through the nose for what turned out to be useless capsules. I'm probably very lucky that's all it was. Some of the stuff advertised out there is toxic.
