Almost got me

Yesterday, 10/20/2024, about 8:30 AM, my phone rang. The voice said "It's me (son name), I'm in jail, don't know which one.... (hmmm).
WHAT?
I had a wreck, and had drunk a bit.Broke my nose and have 4 sitches on lip.

Blah blah blah.. here is the lawyer.....
What?
Lawyer tells me the story, needs 3 k to get son out of jail. Ask me if I use Zelle.
No, I don't......
More blah blah....lawyer tells me (son) was using phone at time of wreck. Lawyer says kids just cannot put those things down..
(Son) is 49 years old.... PING......
Blah blah blah....
I tell lawyer to give me name of jail...He does.
I get his number to call back.....
I then call (son), he answers, I ask where are you?
(Son) says "at home", why..... Then I tell the story of him being in jail.....
..... ALMOST GOT ME!!!!!!!!!!!!

[Removed B8er] is LAWYERS # and name....
Call the number and it rings 3 times then hangs up.....
