There's a Scammer for Everyone

I do some freelance writing, and recently discovered that some scammers focus on writers. I just ran across this this oddly familiar article on the matter: https://tinyurl.com/49w2zdp8

These scammers typically ask for the "first ten pages" of your manuscript. I'm sure that they'll immediately write back to tell you that you're the next Hemingway. So, I'm thinking I'll download ten pages of something classical, but in the public domain, say "Moby Dick". Submit it and then see if "Call me Ishmael" means anything to them.
