20 years...

I just realized that I (barely) missed my 20-year Eaterversary. It was on April 18, 2004 that I first signed up here, after baiting independently for several months. I had a long and very fun ride over many years.

I'm retired now but I still enjoy watching what everyone else is doing to fight the lads after all this time. Scams, and baiting, have evolved a lot in that time. Gone are the days of "yahoo-bois" working out of internet cafés. It was easier to make them burn through cash when getting online was an expensive proposition for them. Now scammers all have a smartphone and are connected 24/7. There was also no social media to speak of in the old days.

(Sheesh -- now I'm sounding like an old-timer!)

I completely missed my 10 year eaterversary in February, but I had been baiting for a bit prior to that as well after encountering scammers on dating sites. Thankfully I thought to create a fake dating profile before engaging with them. AFAIK, that profile is still out there - it's probably been 6 years since I last peeked.

I know how it feels my 20th was just back in Nov. - Now I am not as active -
I still jump on emails and etc now and then But so much harder to get get lads to travel, run to WU, and etc.

I miss it, and maybe bug will get back and want to play again. I just like to find a few folks to help now and then!
