Snapchat sugar momma scam

Post by Ephalias » Wed Feb 09, 2022 4:25 pm

Just had the pleasure of getting my first lad(y) scam attempt.
The lad reached out asking if I had ever had a sugar momma before, and when I responded with no and asked about the details, informed me that they just wanted to message and exchange memes in exchange for a weekly allowance of $3000 that they would send to me. They asked for my cashapp almost immediately after and sent digitized ai videos of other "sugar babies" of theirs that were acclaimed the lad(y)s validity with claims of 3000-5000 deposits. I provided a cashapp handle to them and was sending fake screenshots of a $3000 pending deposit. I was then informed that they needed an $80 transaction from me to them first to accept the large amount from them as a security feature and to register as the lad(y)s sugar baby to secure my weekly allowance. I have continued the conversation by claiming I don't have the funds but that I am asking a friend to spot me the $80.

With this being my first interaction with 419eater and the first time I have taken the interest in actually getting a scammer shut down, I am open to any advice.
Thanks for the help in advance.

I doubt this lad will have much patience, but you can always try. Approach him and ask if $60 would be enough instead of $80? Ask if he will accept a bank transfer......or does he want moneygram? Stretch it out and waste his time. Hopefully the lad will play along.

If this account is connected to your real life, however, do not respond.
